My Role
fortunica is a messaging application where users can have spiritual support. The application is available in 4 different markets (German, English, Spanish, Portuguese). There is a big pool of advisors where users select their favourites so they can have daily private advice for various topics that concern them. Apart from the private advise there is a puclic timeline where users can post publicly their questions so they can get fast replies from online adivsors. The application also supports voice messaging and long session messaging.
My Role
- Work closely with product management in UX ideation and innovation
- Work as part of the product management team and interact with software engineers
- Designe layouts, interactions and transitions around fortunica app, considering limitations for all mobile screen sizes
- Create all sketches, wireframes and mocks in order to communicate user flows and interactions to engineer team
- Conduct customer interviews
- A/B testing live versions
- Usability Testing
- Analyze users for 4 different markets, create personas and user stories
- Define, evaluate,check google analytics events in collaboration with the Data Analyst & Engineer department
- Design-implement-maintain the landing page of the application
- Define and Design the strategy for the ASO materials

When I joined the design team the fortunica application was making its first steps. During these 5 years of being in the team the app grew dramatically. Among many others we designed new features, we worked with external teams, the pandemic hit. Some of the main challenges fortunica face are:
- Many users are reaching the application through various channels but only a small percentage is actually buying a question.
- How do users select the ideal advisor? And how can we help them with that?
- How do we tackle the complexity of the application?
- Unfortunately, the spiritual sector includes lots of scums. How can we overcome this?
- How can we increase retention?
